Mango trees are tropical VIPs that reach impressive heights and have glossy, evergreen leaves. Their small, fragrant pinkish-white flowers attract pollinators. The fruit, with its smooth green to yellow skin, reveals bright golden-orange pulp when cut open. Sweet, juicy and a bit like a tropical paradise, like a slice of sunshine.

Super Queen is the most popular mango variety in Thailand. Due to its attractive properties, it is currently enjoying increasing popularity in India. Previously, these mangoes were only available in South Asian countries. In Thailand, Super Queen mango production farms were a tourist attraction.

The characteristics of Super Queen mangoes are a light yellow skin and yellowish orange flesh, a completely fiber-free texture, juicy and soft flesh, an extremely sweet taste with an elegant aroma and a Brix value of about 16 to 21%.

Due to these characteristics, Super Queen mangoes have become very popular all over the world and most of the major mango production centers have started producing and cultivating Super Queen mango fruits and plants.

Larger fruits and small seeds or pits are the main specialty of Super Queen Mangos. In the production areas, a typical weight of 500g to 1.5kg is usually observed, although in some areas weights of up to 2kg to 2.5kg are also recorded.

We have already explained the taste of Super Queen Mango, but we have also pointed out that Super Queen Mango tastes good raw, without any bitterness. Its taste has a combination of bitterness and sweetness, and this is a great advantage of Super Queen mangoes, especially in the Indian market.

Caring for a mango tree is like caring for a fruit kingdom. Here you can find out everything you need to know:

  1. Watering: Keep the soil constantly moist, especially during dry periods. They do not like wet feet, however, so good drainage is crucial.
  2. Love of the Sun: Mangos are sun worshipers. Give them full sunlight for them to thrive.
  3. Feeding Frenzy: Fertilize regularly during the growing season (spring and summer). They appreciate a balanced fertilizer.
  4. Pruning magic: Pruning branches to shape and control their size. This also helps with air circulation and fruit production.
  5. Pest Control: Keep an eye out for pests and diseases. Treat any problems promptly to keep your mangoes healthy.
  6. Mulching: A cozy layer of mulch around the soil helps retain moisture and keep the soil cool.
  7. Patience, young grasshopper: take mangoes while to bear fruit. Be patient and your mango tree will reward you with an abundance of delicious fruit.
